Important Information
AGES: 4-13
To PURCHASE T-SHIRTS (1 per Child) you will find them HERE. Kindly add the T-Shirts to your basket before Check-Out and ensure that you have included your child(ren)’s names.
After finishing the registration you will receive a confirmation email including a detailed form that needs to be filled once per family. Your registration is INCOMPLETE without the form.
Hot Lunch is available certain days of the week, and you can purchase through LunchBox. Details will be available to registrants at a later date.
What We Offer
Camp Shine is a unique one-of-a-kind summer day camp which offers our students a learning experience through exploration and hands-on learning, all while instilling our Islamic values. Additionally, Camp Shine offers its daily Quran program that is tailored to each age group and their capabilities. Health and Safety: Through safety measures, recommendations and policies provided by the municipality, public health, and our national organization, we have prepared to meet the standards and guidelines in order to open for camp.
Camp Overview
Price:
- Early Bird Pricing: $170/week
- Regular Pricing: $185/week (after May 17th, 2025)
Camp Dates (6 Weeks):
- Start: Monday, July 7th, 2025
- End: August 17th, 2025
(Note: You may sign up your children for any amount of weeks Individually)
Program Time: 9:30AM – 3:00PM

Policies and Regulations
AGE POLICY
- Camper’s registered age will be their age on the week(s) they are attending.
CAMPERS WITH DIFFICULT BEHAVIOUR
- Parents/Guardians will receive an email from the Camp Coordinator/Management to assist in dealing with any difficult behaviors their child(ren) exhibit(s) during camp.
- Zero Tolerance: Any person who inflicts physical or verbal harm onto another person will be removed from the program immediately and remain suspended until contacted by the program coordinator.
- If your child(ren) needs to leave camp for not correcting inappropriate behavior, a refund will NOT be issued.
HEAD LICE
- If lice is detected on any participant, we will notify the authorized person immediately for the child to be picked up.
- Once lice has been treated, the child may return to camp with Camp Coordinator or equivalent’s approval.
SUNSCREEN
- It is our policy to allow staff to assist campers with the application of sunscreen; provided the consent of the parents.
MEDIA CONSENT
- Promotional Material: We reserve the right and permission to publish, reproduce, distribute and /or otherwise use any still or moving photograph, for such purposes and with such frequency as it shall determine in its sole discretion without further compensation or consideration to the parent(s)/guardian(s) and without further authorization by parent(s)/guardian(s) for, as yet, unnamed video or photographic projects (including promotion, marketing and social media) which shall constitute the sole property of Camp Shine.
- Camp Shine shall be released from and against any and all liability resulting from its use of the photos or related to the parent(s)/guardian(s) use of the product.
PAYMENT OF FEES
- Full payment must be received at the time of registration.
- Registrations are primarily online but may be completed in-person after setting up an appointment with the Camp Coordinator.
- Requests for in-person registrations should be sent via email to campshine@londonislamicschool.com.
CANCELLATION/WITHDRAWAL & REFUND POLICY
- All cancellation requests must be submitted by email directly to the Registration Office at campshine@londonislamicschool.com with subject line “Withdrawal Request” followed by your camper’s first and last name.
- Cancellation requests received 10 business days prior to the affected camp will be subject to a full refund minus a $25.00 administration Fee.
- A $25.00 Administration Fee will be applied for any cancellations or changes to camp registrations per child per cancellation notice.
- Cancellation requests received less than 10 business days prior to the camp week will forfeit any possible refund. Cancellations due to a medical reason will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
- Refunds will not be issued if the camper is removed from the camp program at the choice or request of the camper or camper’s parent(s)/guardian(s), or is dismissed from camp for contravention of camp guidelines or the camp code of conduct for behaviour.
- Refunds may take 2-3 weeks to process.
PICK-UP AND DROP-OFF
- All parents and authorized adults are responsible to drop off their children and pick them up on time
- All parents and authorized adults are required to have a valid ID when picking up their children
SAFETY POLICIES
- For the safety of the Campers, trespassing into the London Islamic School is prohibited among any parent/adult (adults/parents must head straight into the Camp Shine office without visiting the hallways)
- Please ensure that your child comes dressed in their Camp Shine shirt DAILY
- A student with a disability, or his or her parent or guardian, is required to advise the camp of the need for accommodation, participate in discussions regarding possible accommodation solutions, meet safety and participation standards once accommodation is provided, and work with the accommodation provider on an ongoing basis to manage the accommodation process.
- If the camper’s needs cannot be met, we will inform you and issue you a refund for the booked week(s).
- To permit my child to participate in full range of Camp Shine activities and authorize the Camp Shine Staff, in the event of accident, injury or illness affecting the above named camper(s) to authorize on behalf all medical and other procedures, including admission to hospital and all other necessary treatment, as they may deem essential for the care and well-being of said camper. Such action is to be taken only when immediate contact with the undersigned cannot be made.
- Camp Shine Staff will not be responsible for giving medicine/medication to your child(ren), except the Epi-Pen. The child must take the medicine/medication themselves or their guardians must give it to them.
