Student Council

The STUDENT COUNCIL IS A STUDENT ORGANIZATION THAT PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES FOR OUR STUDENTS TO ACTIVELY PARTICIPATE IN STUDENT GOVERNMENT.

The Student Council conducts a variety of events and activities throughout the school year. With input from all students and staff, the Student Council sets a yearly agenda of activities that promote school spirit, fundraising, technology initiatives, and athletics. Fundraisers are conducted to earn funds to pay for student activities and to support classroom learning.

Each year, Student Council elections are held in October for nominations of the executive team.  Student of grades 6-8 are eligible to run for Secretary, Treasurer, Vice-President, and President positions.  Our campaign week consists of posters, pamphlets, and speeches.  The winners are voted by students of grades 5-8 and the winners take the responsibility of representing the student body of the school.
